The demand for personal tutors in all fields of study and levels of education (primary, secondary and tertiary) are ever-increasing. The Student Guild provides a free advertising service for current Griffith University Gold Coast students who are interested in sharing their academic knowledge and educational experience with other fellow students and/or the general community.
By registering as a tutor you are committed to offering educational support to any persons whom require assistance in your specific field of study. You have the option and opportunity to tutor all levels of education, starting with primary right through to tertiary. This is a voluntary service and therefore you may request your details be removed from our website at any stage. You can do so via firstname.lastname@example.org or on (07) 555 28724.
As a tutor you are able to charge an hourly rate per session. We recommend you charge a reasonable hourly rate for your services, dependent upon your level of academic experience. Feel free to negotiate this rate with those you will be tutoring. You must provide a student email address for contact.
Guide those in need of extra tuition through their study materials and provide all academic support where requested. The tutor is there to assist others to be able to help themselves.
Tutors must be a current Griffith University student and must provide their Griffith University email address. Tutors working with children under 18 years of age, are required to undergo a criminal history check as directed by the Commission for Children and Young People Act 2000 (QLD). The application forms can be downloaded from www.bluecard.qld.gov.a
