Join the Board

The Griffith University Gold Coast Student Guild is governed by a Board of students elected by you. 

The Board consists of 10 student members who are responsible for advocating the interests, needs and wants of the Gold Coast student body. These elected representatives serve as the student voice on campus. There are 2 vacant positions opening up for 4-month terms (May – September 2021). If you are interested in representing your fellow Gold Coast campus students, we encourage you to download a nomination form using the button below.

Nominating

The nomination process runs from Wednesday 28 April – Wednesday 5 May.
Nominations open: 9.00 am Wednesday 28 April
Nominations close:
4.00 pm Wednesday 5 May

Nominees must submit a passport/bio style photo and a statement of not more than one hundred (100) words outlining the reasons for nominating to join the Student Guild Board. This must be lodged electronically by email (guildinfo@griffith.edu.au) by close of nominations. Late material will not be accepted.

Persons must be nominated by one student and seconded by another student. Nominees for co-option, nominators and seconders must be currently enrolled Griffith University Gold Coast students. The nomination of a student must contain the nominee’s written consent to be nominated as well as the signatures of the nominator and seconder. Nominations must be in writing and on the official nomination form and received by close of nominations.
