Excellence in Diversity and Inclusion

The Excellence in Diversity and Inclusion Award will be presented at the annual Guild Awards event. Shortlisted finalists will be invited to attend the event on Saturday 5 November. This award will be presented to the best club, initiative or student that has made an outstanding contribution to supporting and fostering inclusion. Nominations should align with one or more diversity and inclusion priority areas listed below:
- Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People
- Cultural and Linguistic Diversity
- LGBTQIA + Inclusion
- Disability Inclusion
- Gender Equity
- Another facet of diversity and inclusion not listed above
Selection Criteria:
Award nominations will be assessed and selected based on the information provided in the nomination summary. The winner of this award will be decided by a panel chaired by the Community and Culture Coordinator.
The nomination must include one or more currently enrolled Griffith University Gold Coast student to be eligible. Nominations may be submitted by a member of staff, another student or may self-nominate.
