Self Defence

GUGC Sport is running a free 4 week Women’s and Mixed Self Defence Course for GUGC students to take part in. Both courses start on Tuesday 12 March and run for 4 weeks.

Students can attend all 4 weeks (recommended) or just select one class to come along to.

1) Tuesday 12 March, 3.00 pm – 4.00 pm
2) Tuesday 19 March, 3.00 pm – 4.00 pm
3) Tuesday 26 March, 3.00 pm – 4.00 pm
4) Tuesday 2 April, 3.00 pm – 4.00 pm

Mixed course:

1) Tuesday 12 March, 4.00 pm – 5.00 pm
2) Tuesday 19 March, 4.00 pm – 5.00 pm
3) Tuesday 26 March, 4.00 pm – 5.00 pm
4) Tuesday 2 April, 4.00 pm – 5.00 pm

Please arrive at the Function Centre (G07) entrance (near Burger Urge) at least 10 minutes before class starts to allow enough time to sign-in. Classes will start at 3.00 pm and 4.00 pm sharp.

Wear comfortable ‘gym gear’ and bring a towel and water bottle. This course has a progressive and repetitive structure. We advise that students register for all four weeks for maximum benefit.

We are excited to welcome the InDefence Personal Safety Specialists (Krav Maga) to conduct our Self-Defence Courses and can’t wait to see you there!
