There’s so much talk about the importance of exam prep from brain foods to sleeping habits, but what about after-exam care? Your body has been under so much stress and pressure with the gloom of exams hanging overhead, so it’s important to give your body some extra care to get back to square one.
Here are some tips on how to take care of yourself post-exams.
Your mind may still be in a tizzy from days of intense study. Work through your notes, worksheets and stationery. Clear out the old and restock the new. This would be the perfect time to revisit the content and reflect on how you might improve next time.
Let your body clock reset
Turn off your alarm (without guilt) and allow yourself the rest you need. Whether you’re an early bird or night owl with a structured study routine, it’s important to recoup your body and mind.
Relax, rejuvenate and reward
Treat yourself for all the hard work you’ve achieved! Plan a day with friends, go to the beach, have a movie day or get a massage. It’s time to reward yourself with something that brings you joy and makes you happy!
