The Student Services and Amenities Fee is a compulsory fee to the majority of students enrolled in courses conducted on campus and liable to pay SSAF. This provides funding for student services and amenities of a non-academic nature, such as:
For 2018, the SSAF charge for students will be $3.72 per enrolled point for courses with an on campus location. The maximum charge for 2018 is $298. The fee will be indexed annually. Universities can choose to charge different groups of students a different fee amount. For example, on-campus and off-campus students may be charged different amounts. You cannot be charged more than the maximum annual amount (e.g. $298 in 2018 and $294 in 2017) for the calendar year.

Your Academic Charges Account will list the Student Services and Amenities Fee per enrolled course, and the due dates for payment. The due dates for payment of the fee will align with the course census dates.
Eligible students are able to defer the SSAF through a loan scheme called SA-HELP.
