This podcast has been created by student occupational therapists as a safe space for students to access the wellbeing support they so often require as they navigate the many challenges associated with being a university student, with insufficient time acting as the biggest barrier to students engaging in help-seeking behaviours or wellbeing services. This podcast will incorporate a combination of lived experience to support and validate the feelings that so many university students experience on a regular basis, paired with strategies, tips and information to support and guide students through light conversation.
This podcast is hosted by Sarah McDonald, both student and President of the Student Guild Board, and Tyson Holmes, student and Student Guild staff member, and will feature an array of guest speakers that will alternate weekly to engage in meaningful discussions and conversations around the wellbeing topics as voted most important by you! This podcast is led by Griffith University students, for Griffith University students, with our hope being that this will support better mental health outcomes both inside and outside of university life.
