Free ShuttlE

Welcome to the free shuttle, a transport service the Student Guild is trialling in partnership with Griffith University.

This service bridges the missing link between the Gold Coast and Nathan campuses, and is supported by the public transport system. The shuttle bus connects passengers from trains from the Altandi QLD Rail Station with the Nathan campus up to every 30 minutes.

Griffith Gold Coast is home to two of its very own light rail stations, so to best prepare, visit the Journey Planner website and enter a departure time based on the timetable below.

***COVID Update***

Please stay at home if you are unwell or are experiencing any symptoms identified as being COVID-19 related; sore throat, headache, chills (sometimes with shaking), loss of smell or taste, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, diarrhea. Anyone presenting these symptoms must be denied passage under the Covid Safe Industry Plan and for passenger safety. Patrons are encouraged to bring their own mask to wear while on the bus, however they are non-compulsory for anyone without covid symptoms.

  • The Intercampus Bus operates Monday to Friday during trimester only (including examination periods), but excluding public holidays.

  • Bookings can only be made two weeks in advance and we recommend booking at least 24 hours in advance of your preferred departure day and time. If your preferred booking time is not available, unfortunately the bus is fully booked for that time slot.

  • Passengers unable to travel must cancel their trip as soon as possible via the link in their confirmation email to allow others the opportunity. Failure to cancel multiple trips may result in future denials of service so other students are not disadvantaged.

  • As this is now a free service, any previously purchased Frequent User Cards can be partially or wholly refunded by visiting the Student Guild reception team at G07.

  • This service is only for Griffith University students and staff. Current Griffith University ID card must be presented on entry.
