COURT HIRE
We operate an outdoor basketball court, beach volleyball court and two tennis courts, located at The Courtside (G32). Courts are available to hire by Griffith Gold Coast students, staff and the wider community.
The courts and equipment are free to use for current GUGC students. Non-student rates are listed below:
Court Hire
- Day bookings (6.00 am – 5.00 pm):
Non-students: $15 per court per hour plus booking fee - Night bookings (5.00 pm – 9.00 pm):
Non-students: $20 per court per hour plus booking fee
Lights are available on all courts for night bookings:
Night bookings must be made Monday to Friday before 3.00 pm to guarantee lights will be turned on.
- Winter: 4.00 pm – 9.00 pm
- Summer: 6.00 pm – 9.00 pm
Sport Equipment Hire
Griffith Gold Coast students can hire sport equipment for free from the Student Guild office (G07) during staffed hours, Mon-Fri 9.00 am – 4.00 pm when you have a confirmed booking.

- Tennis racquets
- Tennis balls
- Basketballs
- Beach Volleyballs

Terms and Conditions:
- A single Griffith University student can book the court for up to 3 hours per week
- A single Griffith University student can book the court up to 2 hours at a time
- A single Griffith University student can book the court no more than once per day
- Court booking cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to the reservation time. Refund requests will only be considered for cancellations made more than 24 hours before the scheduled booking
