The Uni Fitness G07 gym offers 24/7 access to all members. To gain access outside of staff hours, you must complete a quick safety induction and purchase a 24/7 access tag.

Frequently Asked Questions

All Uni Fitness memberships are offered as 24/7 access. After completing the membership sign-up process, you will be invited to view a brief safety briefing covering the “Do’s & Do nots” both during and after staffed hours. All that’s left to do is sign the last section certifying that you have viewed the safety induction and comprehend the material. The final step involves linking your 24/7 tag to a picture of yourself and your account to ensure that you aren’t sharing it with another user.

Once you have signed up for a direct debit membership, you will receive an email from Debit Success that contains your membership contract. If you are looking for more information, feel free to send an email to [email protected] for any enquiries.

Fully enclosed sports shoes must be always worn. All members are expected to always wear suitable activewear clothing. Members must use towels on gym equipment, benches, and mats to maintain appropriate hygiene and safety standards, all equipment must be wiped down after use. When entering the premises, you must take off any head and facial clothing such as caps, hats, hoodies, and helmets so our security cameras can get a clear image of you. This is for the safety of other members and yourself.

Use your 24/7 tag to access Uni Fitness during staffed and unstaffed hours. Your 24/7 tag is connected to your account within our gym management system and if there are no issues with your account, you will be able to gain access to the gym 24 hours a day. Should there be an issue with your account such as overdue payments, if you have breached our rules, policies, or terms & conditions or if your account is on hold, your all-access tag you will not have access to the gym until the issue has been resolved. If you forget your all-access tag, you cannot access the gym under any circumstances whatsoever during unstaffed hours. Including another member allowing you access to the facility. If you lose your tag, you will need to notify us immediately and buy a replacement from reception during staffed hours.

24/7 all-access tags are $30.00. You can purchase your tag during staffed hours. If you lose your all-access tag, it is your responsibility to notify our reception team immediately. Replacement tags are $30.00 which you can purchase during staffed hours.

Yes you can! Our members can access Uni fitness 24/7 Gym, 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, 365 days per year.

No. Your all-access tag belongs to you and is exclusive to your membership account. It is strictly prohibited for a member to permit entry or exit to another person at any time, for any reason whatsoever. The security of Uni Fitness 24/7 Gym and its members is paramount, any unauthorised access will result in your membership being cancelled with the cancellation policy fee applied or receiving a $150.00 fine.

  • No gym entry for members under 14 years of age.
  • Members aged 14-15 years may only enter and train during staffed hours and
    must be supervised by a parent or legal guardian at all times.
  • Members aged 16-17 years may enter and train unsupervised during staffed
    hours provided parent or legal guardian consent has been given.
    If no parent or legal guardian consent has been given, supervision is required.
  • 24/7 access is allowed for those aged 18 years and up.

Yes, we will continue to play music during the unstaffed hours through our sound system. You can listen to our music, or you can listen to your own through you own personal device. If using your own personal device to listen to music, please have it at a sound level where you can still hear what else is going on around the gym. This is for your own personal security and safety so you can hear the alarms and security company through the cameras as well as the other members within the gym in case of emergency.

The areas that you will have access to during unstaffed hours will include: male and female bathrooms, functional training, stretch, cardiovascular and weight training areas.

Uni Fitness 24/7 gym is monitored by a comprehensive CCTV security camera system that is recording 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. These cameras record the date and time of the footage, and the recordings are kept for 2 years. This system is used for security monitoring purposes only and it ensures the security of the gym and does not guarantee you against harm. There are also 5 portable emergency duress buttons on lanyards located near the reception, it is your responsibility to ensure you wear these duress buttons when you are using the gym during unstaffed hours. In an emergency you can push on the button and the security company can respond to you through the cameras, and they can send the appropriate emergency service. The CCTV in conjunction with the electronically activated facility doors and emergency lanyards ensures a level of personal security to you. However, these precautions in no way protect you completely. You must use discretion, awareness and common sense when evaluating your own personal safety when entering, exiting and working out within the gym. There are significant fines that are incurred to the user for false or inappropriate use of the duress buttons. The security company can be contacted on 0738 656 178 should you have any concerns. It is also recommended that you always keep your mobile phone near you so you can call 000 or the security company if needed.

Yes, it is your responsibility to wear/carry the emergency duress button lanyard during unstaffed hours. It is vitality important for your health and safety that you wear/carry the duress button lanyard in the case of an emergency. The emergency duress button lanyards are kept on the left side of the wall after you enter the gym. The lanyard has a simple push button that alerts our security company that you are in distress, the security company will communicate with you via the CCTV system and will they will alert the appropriate emergency service to come to your aid. Please note: if you use the emergency duress button inappropriately other than it’s intended purpose, you will be liable to pay the cost of the emergency call out fee

No, children and pets are not allowed to be brought onto the premises during unstaffed hours under any circumstances.

Unfortunately, we are unable to keep the windows open when we are unstaffed due to the Centre Management Policy and safety of our members. Windows will be locked when we close and opened again the next day when we are staffed. Fans can be turned on at any time.

The gym has a set of 5 emergency duress lanyards located near reception. It is your responsibility to ensure you wear/carry a duress button at all times when using the gym in unstaffed hours. In the case of an emergency and you need to alert the security company, such as if you feel threatened/unsafe or if you need medical help for yourself or another user, you can press the button and the security company will be contacted. The security company will talk to you through the CCTV camera system, and they will notify the appropriate emergency service to assist you. The emergency duress button lanyards are located on the wall opposite the reception desk (on your left upon entering the gym). Please note: If you use the emergency duress button inappropriately other than it’s intended purpose, you will liable to pay the cost of the emergency call out fee.

It is strictly prohibited for anyone at any time in the premises to prop open any of the doors, or to place any object against a door that could restrict access to any of the doors or doorways.

Yes, there is a First Aid Station with a first aid kit and defibrillator located on the wall in the hallway in front of the water fountain. During staffed hours you should contact a Uni Fitness team member for first aid assistance for yourself or somebody else. During unstaffed hours for minor first aid issues, you can access the first aid kit, for major first aid issues or major medical emergencies, please contact the security company via 0738 656 178 or use the emergency duress button lanyards and they will notify the appropriate emergency service to assist you.

The defibrillator is used during life-threatening cardiac dysrhythmias, ventricular fibrillation and tachycardia after first activating the emergency duress button lanyard and calling the Emergency Services on “000”. The defibrillator has step by step instructions on how to use it should you have the need too. Please note: if you use the emergency duress button inappropriately other than it’s intended purpose, you will be liable to pay the cost of the emergency call out fee.

If you are required to evacuate the building for any emergency reasons, please follow our evacuation procedure:

1. Look for EXIT signs and make your way in an orderly manner to the nearest Emergency Exit.

2. Once outside the building, proceed to the nearest Assembly Point which is outside the main entry on the grass area.

4. Do not wander away from the Assembly Point. Remain at the assembly point until emergency services personnel advise that it is safe to leave or re-enter the building.

If at any time you hear a fire alarm go off within the building or you see a fire onsite, please contact the security company via the duress button, and also call “000” from your mobile phone. The security company will notify emergency services and 24/7 Gym Manager. Please refer to the evacuation procedure signs located at each exit.

If at any time, there is a blackout or power failure you will be required to evacuate the building immediately. Uni Fitness 24/7 Gym has enough emergency lighting and battery backup power to allow you to exit the building safely. Once the power returns you will be able to re-access Uni Fitness 24/7 Gym. When evacuating the premises you will need to take your all-access key tag with you to exit the building, you will also need the all-access tag to re-gain access once the power returns.
Please note: we also recommend downloading a “torch application” to your phone so you can use the torch if there is a blackout/power failure to improve your visibility and safety.

  • At all times please be respectful of other members using the gym.
  • At all times when entering and exiting the gym, please be respectful of the local neighbours.
  • At all times be aware that the cameras and security system are watching, so please abide by our rules and regulations.
